Mindfulness

Mindfulness can be considered as a form of energy or a state of being and is often practiced in the form of Mindfulness breathing meditation.
The practice and energy of Mindfulness, carrying also the energy of concentration, brings us in touch with that part of ourselves that is not wondering of in the past or in future but with that part in us that is truly alive in the now, in the present moment. Mindfulness energy enables us to bring balance to our mind and body, to restore peace in our mind and body and to heal and prevent physical, emotional and psychological wounds.

Mindfulness as a state of being has been part old Eastern traditions for a long time with five areas of focus:

  • Protection of all forms of Life  - respecting the needs and rights of others in a system of global consecutiveness abnd interbeing

  • Generosity - sharing of resources in not accepting  a privileged position and the suffering of others

  • Refrain from sexual misconduct - embracing diversity and sacredness of race, gender, culture, personality, body and mind

  • Meditation techniques - compassionate listening and talking to ourselves and others

  • Mindful consumption - growing awareness of material and immaterial consumption that leads to peace and harmony

In Mindfulness Mediation Coaching & Training, we work in all our programmes with our clients in a place of respect for these five areas.
